How to get the edit button on the service map Iview and when we click on edit how can we get edit options for all the workset in the page .
For example we have an overview page under content administration->portal content management->Overview ..
shown below with screen shot
The below screen is my service map Iview ,on this screen i want to have edit button and need to get the same above functionality .
Can you please share your ideas on this ASAP .

Hi,
I need to add some additional fields in FI document via transaction F-43.
I added them in an append structure in BKPF, implemented BADI FI_HEADER_SUB_1300 and programmed the screen with the corresponding fields. But it didn´t work with my new fields, the only fields that are updated in BKPF are XREF1_HD and XREF2_HD.
Does anyone know if it's possible to add new fields with badi FI_HEADER_SUB_1300 ? Do I need to consider something extra?

Hi Gurus,
I have 400 vendors, whom I should check whether they have any text. I know how to view manually one by one ( Go to FK03 give vendor number and company code, then hit enter then go to extra in the menu bar then click text) but this will take long time to check all the vendors, so my question, Is there any easy way to check vendor text for all 400 vendors?

We are planning to enable to offline functionality to our FSF users using windows app on their Surface Pro. Is there a good setup documentation or guide for administrators for initial setup?
I want to enable only few objects like Accounts, Contacts, activities to be synced to the app.

Hi,
Sometime HR create employee record in SAP and they Delimit those employee because they don't need it.
Issue- Since it came into BW with previous load and now it is delimited from SAP, still showing in BW. So SAP data and BW data out of sync.
1st Solution: SAP--> PSA-->DSO-->0EMPLOYEE (mapping 0RECORDMODE between DSO and EMP). Still delimited record shows in EMP.
2nd Solution: Delete MD completely and full load- too many manual process
I am using T-code SE14 to delete MD- Not recommended
When I use "Delete Master Data-->Text ->Simulate Mode--> Perform in BKG with Search Mode "One usage is sufficient" and then see from MANAGE tab. I still see all the records in the InfoObject.
What could be best solution?

Asset explorer (AW01N) report is displaying blank in Simple Finance System though there are postings to assets. None of the asset balances (Acquisitions or Planned Depreiciation etc) are displaying here.

There is a customer exit for Fiscal Period and when i execute the Planning Sequence, it gives the error that Value "2014004" for user-exit variable is invalid. The same code works fine in Quality. I have checked my settings and compared it to quality and they look same but not sure why i am getting error in Dev and not in quality.

I see that thread utitlization is 100% in Sybase engine but OS utilization is only 70% on Aix Power 7 . AIX box has 16pcu mutlithreaded to 32 .
Increased Sybase thread from 24 to 32 but with same result . Is it possible to increase OS utlization to say 80 % - 85 % .

When we post goods issue 261 movement type the material is posted used the moving price.
However, the price control is "S" Standard in material master.
Do we missed configuration?
But when we check in PRD, there is a price difference account configured.

When we run the cost estimate for sales order, system calculate the wrong material overhead. Meaning to say our material overhead is applied on material costs but system also adding the labor costs and in material costs and then calculate material overhead. Any body knows why system is behaving like this.

We are currently debating whether to implement Costing Based or Account Based COPA.
One of the important point to consider is the size of the database.
In the quicksizer tool - is the tool based on Account based or Costing based? How much of a size difference is there between the two different approaches? Is there a rule of thumb for the relationship between the two.

I extend field at Opportunity, similar Account, can use OVS select Account data

set OVS Comonent, Presentation Mode = DescriptionOnly, Configure OBN
Now, I can use OVS select Account data, the field can click link Account Screen
But I hope to see the customer name, rather than the customer ID.
How to do to achieve my needs?

I work for the inbound team at SAP, and I recently had a conversation with a gentleman who is working on upgrading an old custom DB application for a client. The DB is holding about 12 GB and it is running Sybase 8.0.3.5002.
He is looking for a tool that will allow him to upgrade/export the database, but the custom app doesn't allow for any exporting of the data; just read and enter. They would like to move the data out of the old DB into whatever they choose to upgrade to.
We have tried using Sybase Central 16 to perform this process, but when he tries to connect to the DB, he gets the following error:
Could not connect to the database.Unable to start specified database: 'C:\Users\Craig\Desktop\old.db' was created by a different version of the software
Any ideas on what might be a good approach to this situation? Any guidance would be appreciated.

I have recorded the transaction FS00 for creating a GL for a company code. When I run the BDC the create screen is not coming. When I manually click on create button then the whole BDC program is running fine.

I have a problem with sales quotes update.
I need to update 30,000 sales quotes, but using the migration tool is not possible to update and Mass data Maintenance functionallity has not option for sales quote.
We tried to use the migration template but i cannot know the SalesQuote UUID.
I need to add a new party involved (approver role) in the parties involved tab for these 30,000 sales quotes.
There is another way to update the Sales quote?
I tried with a MDR but the BO dont´s appears.

Does it only happen to us or is it a usual issue not to find any FIN_FSCM_CCD component inside Enterprise Business Functions folder on SFW5 transaction?
No FIN_FSCM_CCD,
no FIN_FSCM_CCD_2 and
no FIN_FSCM_CCD_3
We only have the ****INTEGRATION*** business functions....
Can somebody tell me the reason for this?
